🛡 Credential Validity Disclaimer
Last updated: October 30, 2026 · Read together with the Signup Notice & Terms of Service
Key notice: Compliance credential information displayed on the Golddigger platform (including but not limited to CE, RoHS, REACH, FSC, UL, energy labels, carbon footprint PCF, factory audits and management-system certifications) is submitted by suppliers themselves or obtained from public and third-party data channels. The platform is not an issuer, certification body, or authorised representative of any credential, and makes no warranty of any kind as to the authenticity, validity, completeness or continuing effectiveness of any credential.
1. Where credential information comes from
- Supplier submissions: suppliers upload or declare credentials they hold via registration, the workspace, or the API. The platform merely records and displays them.
- Public and third-party channels: some credential statuses come from public databases, issuing-body websites, or commercial data services, and may be delayed, outdated, or wrong at the source.
The platform does not issue, endorse or certify any credential, and does not provide certification services on behalf of any certification body.
2. Scope and limits of platform verification
The platform may perform formal (documentary) checks, typically limited to:
- whether the credential number's format matches the issuing body's published rules;
- whether the issuing body genuinely exists and appears in public listings;
- whether the on-face details (holder, standard version, issue/expiry dates) are internally consistent and within the stated validity period.
Formal checks are not authenticity verification, and do not confirm that: the actual product conforms to the relevant standard; the credential covers the specific model/batch you intend to purchase; the credential will be accepted by regulators in your destination market; or that the credential remains valid after the check.
3. Legal effect rests with the issuer
- The legal effect of any credential is determined solely by its issuing body and its own terms.
- Credentials are typically limited by validity period, scope (product category, model, batch, production site), the version of the applicable regulation, and territorial effect. Outside that scope they may be invalid or unusable.
- Regulations and standards change; credential status may change at any time, and information shown on the platform may lag behind.
4. Your verification duty
Before making any purchasing, partnership, export or compliance decision, you should:
- independently verify the credential with the issuing body or its official database;
- request the original credential or a confirmation letter from the issuing body;
- confirm the credential's scope covers the products and destination market of your transaction;
- where necessary, consult qualified compliance, legal or technical advisors.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither the platform nor its affiliates shall be liable for any direct or indirect loss (including but not limited to cargo holds, returns, fines, recalls, reputational damage, or lost profits) arising from your reliance on credential information displayed or checked on the platform. Displaying credential information does not constitute a recommendation or warranty of any supplier's products or services.
6. Not legal advice
The platform and its content (including verification results, compliance scores and matching suggestions) are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice or a compliance conclusion. Legal and compliance judgments for any specific transaction remain your responsibility or that of your professional advisors.
7. Reporting and corrections
If you believe credential information shown on the platform is wrong, outdated or forged, report it to gdana@agentmail.to with supporting evidence. Upon verification, the platform will correct or remove the information; accounts submitting forged credentials may be suspended or terminated, and the platform will cooperate with regulatory requirements.
8. Application and changes
This Disclaimer forms part of the Signup Notice & Terms of Service and applies together with them; matters not covered here are governed by the Terms. The platform may update this Disclaimer from time to time; material changes will be announced in advance via the dashboard or email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
