📝 Supplier Credential Authenticity Undertaking

Last updated: 30 October 2026  ·  Applies to all supplier / factory onboarding and credential submissions  ·  Read together with the Terms of Service

Core undertaking: Any supplier that submits, uploads or declares a compliance credential on Golddigger (including but not limited to CE, RoHS, REACH, FSC, UL, energy labels, Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS, ISO system certifications and factory audit reports) warrants that such credential is genuine, lawful, valid and legally held by that supplier. Submitting a credential constitutes full acceptance of this Undertaking.

1. Scope and Undertaking Party

2. Representations and Warranties

For each credential submitted, the Supplier represents and warrants that:

  1. Lawful holding: the credential was issued by a duly qualified body, and the Supplier is its certificate holder or has been lawfully authorised by the holder to display and use it;
  2. Authentic content: the credential is an original, or a complete, legible and unaltered copy, and its number, holder, product scope, standard version and issue/expiry dates match the issuing body's records;
  3. Currently valid: the credential is within its validity period and has not been withdrawn, suspended, cancelled or declared invalid;
  4. Scope match: the credential covers the specific product category, model and production site the Supplier intends to display or trade on the Platform.

3. Ongoing Duty to Update

The Supplier acknowledges that credential status changes over time and undertakes a continuing duty of maintenance. Upon any of the following events, the Supplier shall proactively update or withdraw the relevant credential within 5 business days:

The Platform may review credential status periodically or from time to time. Where a review reveals expiry or abnormal status that the Supplier has not updated, the Platform may flag, de-rank or remove the credential without liability for any resulting loss.

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following constitute material breach. Once identified, the Platform may act immediately without the Supplier's prior consent:

5. Duty to Cooperate with Verification

6. Breach and Platform Remedies

Where the Supplier breaches any provision of this Undertaking, the Platform may, according to the severity of the case, take any of the following measures individually or cumulatively:

  1. require correction or supplementary materials within a set deadline;
  2. remove the relevant credential, product or company listing;
  3. reduce the TrustScore and search ranking weight;
  4. suspend or restrict account functions (including distillation, matching and API calls);
  5. terminate the service and close the account;
  6. notify affected buyers of the circumstances;
  7. report to regulators or cooperate with investigations as required by law.

These measures are not the Platform's sole remedy; the Platform reserves all other rights available at law, including claims for damages.

7. Liability and Indemnity

Where a credential submitted by the Supplier is untrue, inaccurate, expired or used beyond its scope, and such defect causes loss to the Platform, a buyer or any third party (including but not limited to cargo detention, return shipment, fines, recalls, reputational loss, litigation costs and reasonable enforcement expenses), the Supplier shall bear full liability for compensation.

Where the Platform first bears compensation, indemnity or administrative liability to a third party as a result, it is entitled to full recourse against the Supplier. Verification by the Platform does not reduce or transfer any of the Supplier's liabilities under this Undertaking.

8. Relationship with the Credential Disclaimer

This Undertaking operates together with the Platform's buyer-facing Credential Disclaimer: the Disclaimer explains that the Platform does not issue or endorse credentials and sets out the buyer's independent duty of verification, while this Undertaking establishes that the Supplier bears full responsibility for the authenticity and consequences of the credentials it submits. Together, the two documents define the responsibility boundary of the Platform's credential system.

9. Application and Amendments

This Undertaking forms part of the Terms of Service and applies together with it; matters not covered herein are governed by the Terms of Service. The Platform may amend this Undertaking from time to time, with material changes notified in advance via in-site announcement or email. Continued submission or display of credentials after amendments take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
